On June 17, 2021, Bill 6, the Accessible British Columbia Act (ABCA), received Royal Assent and became law. The Ministry is taking applications from people who wish to apply to be on the Provincial Accessibility Committee (PAC). The PAC will work closely with the Ministry and its Accessibility Secretariat as they create regulations and standards within the Act.
